“New Hampshire Originals: From the Beach to Monadnock!” What do 4 soloists, a 70 voice choir, 2 premiers, a poet, a famous mountain, and the US’s first woman-symphonic- composer all have in common? They are all connected to NH! The concert features Amy Beach’s “Gaelic Symphony”, premiers by KSC alums Jon Way and Miriam Sharrock , and solos by KSC seniors Callie Carmosino, Steven Lauture, Amy Lesieur, and Matthew McGinnis. The grand finale includes KSC’s Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, along with guest singers from Hillsborough –Deering High School, presenting Peter Vantine’s “Monadnock in October”. This promises to be a stirring and inspiring evening of symphonic music by the Keene State Orchestra.
