Whoooo’s ready to come back together at Keene State College? We are! Join fellow alumni owls in October of 2021 for Keene State’s Alumni Weekend! We have traditional events, sports, new ways to connect, and more! We are in the process of planning a safe and fun weekend for all!

Friday, October 1
First Friday Lawn Games: From Noon to 3pm, students and alumni are welcome to hang out and play lawn games on the Student Center Lawn. First Friday is part of a series of events for students the first few weeks of the semester. Sponsored by the Keene State Student Involvement Office.
Keene State College Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner and Reception: Invitation Only. The induction ceremony of the Keene State College Athletics/Alumni Hall of Fame will welcome the 2003-04 Men’s Basketball Team, Crystal Blamy ‘08 (Track and Field), Judy Izzo ‘99 (Women’s Basketball), Bill Williams ‘01 (Baseball) and recognize Brittany O’Bryant ‘08 who is slated to be inducted into the Little East Conference Hall of Fame.
Owls Roost Reception at Keene Ice: Alumni and friends are invited to Keene Ice for a welcome back reception to kick off the weekend and to cheer on the Men’s Club Ice Hockey season opener against the University of New Hampshire. Free admittance, event has heavy appetizers and cash bar.
Men’s Club Ice Hockey vs. UNH: Cheer on the Owls for their season opener against the University of New Hampshire Wildcats! Join alumni and friends at the reception in the Blastos room at Keene Ice. Ticket and team information can be found here. Free entry to game when attending the Welcome Back Reception

Saturday, October 2
10 am - 6 pm
Hospitality Suite: The Hospitality Suite will be open for alumni and friends checking in for the weekend, checking out yearbooks across the decades, registering for events, or answer questions.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s:Walk to End Alzheimer’s is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Sponsored by the Keene State Community Service Office and the Alzheimer’s Association. More information here.
Men’s Club Ice Hockey Golf Tournament: Spend the day at Bretwood Golf Course and support the Keene State College Men’s Club Hockey Team. For more information about the tournament please contact Coach Rodrigue.
Cross Country Invitational: Cheer on the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team as they face other schools in this invitational race. This is the one time this season they race at home!
Women’s Alumnae Lacrosse Game: The Lady Owls are back on the turf! The Women’s Lacrosse alumnae will be picking up their sticks and showing off the skills they still have!
Women’s Rugby vs. Rodger Williams University: The team is on the pitch for the first time this season. Head out to Joyce field to watch the match!
Class Meetings Various classes will get together to celebrate reunions, discuss their class gifts, and to plan their next anniversary. Please contact the alumni office if you are interested in organizing a class meeting.
Volleyball vs. Eastern Connecticut State University : The Owls will face two games today, stop by the Spaulding Gymnasium to cheer on the Keene State Volleyball team.
Golden Circle Lunch: After a few years apart, graduates from the Class of 1971 and earlier will have the opportunity to spend time with alumni and friends with one another. The Golden Circle Society will also welcome the classes of 1970 & 1971 and present their medallions. $20 per person
Decade Lunches & Reunion Celebrations We are doubling the reunion celebrations this year! Everyone who graduated in the 1970’s through 1990’s are invited to mix and mingle over lunch and celebrate their classmates who are celebrating a milestone year. $20 per person
Sizzlers in the Night Owl Café Step back to the College days and have lunch in the NOC and indulge in a sizzler and chips. The NOC has gotten a face lift in the last few years, come check it out. And of course fan favorite sauces will be available for your sizzler! $15 per person
Women’s Soccer vs. Eastern Connecticut State University The Lady Owl take the field facing the Little East Conference match up team, Eastern Connecticut State University.
Men’s Rugby vs. Nichols College Visit Joyce Field (The A-Fields) and watch the Men’s club rugby team face their first opponent of the season.
Field Hockey vs. Bridgewater State University: Be sure to swing by the Field Hockey game and check out the Owls and see the new turf field at the stadium! This match up will be a good one to watch!
Parade of Classes and Ice Cream Social: Alumni Weekend wouldn’t be the same without the Ice Cream Social and the Parade of Classes! We will begin the parade at the Student Center and end at the President’s Residence Garden where we can sit and visit with one another over an ice cream sundae. Free
Delta Phi Epsilon Alumnae Mixer: Reconnect with DPhiE sisters and meet current sisters over light appetizers.
Athletic Coaches Retirement Celebration: Come celebrate the retirement of our dedicated coaches over at the Krif Road fields. $10 per person
Owl Artists Fly Home Exhibit and Reception: Alumni artists gather to share their work in a range of media and mingle with viewers. An outdoor reception will be held at the Living Learning Commons green while small groups of guests rotate through the exhibit. Free: light refreshments will be served.
Men’s Lacrosse Alumni Game: Lacrosse Alumni are coming back to the turf for one more game!
Volleyball vs. RIT: The Volleyball faces their second competition of the day. Watch the Owls in Spaulding Gymnasium take on Rochester Institute of Technology in their final game of Alumni Weekend.
Panhellenic Bid Day:Celebration of new sorority members joining the community! All Panhellenic and Sorority alumni are invited to this celebration.
David E. White Children’s Literature Collection Renaming and Opening Reception: Join alumni, community members, and the campus community to honor David E. White for this extensive collection of children’s literature illustrations and books. An outdoor reception at the Living Learning Commons green will be followed by small groups touring three exhibit selections at Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery, Mason Library Archives, and Rhodes Hall. Free: hearty hors-d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
Quad Games and Concert: Everyone remembers hanging out on Fiske Quad as students; listening to music, playing frisbee, and spending time with friends. Come back Saturday night and participate in lawn games, a cornhole tournament, grab some dinner from food trucks on Appian Way, and more. $10 per person
Sunday, October 3
Breakfast & Bingo: Come on down to campus for some Breakfast food and Bingo. We provide the breakfast, mimosas, bingo cards, and prizes! $12 per person
Cancelled: Mount Monadnock Alumni Hike: The Alumni Weekend Hike has been postponed to later in October. Watch out for more news about the hike soon!
Alumni Rugby Game: Celebrate rugby at Keene State with alumni and students during an alumni game on the pitch!
Please note, housing is not available on campus for Alumni Weekend 2021. We do have a list of local hotels, B&B’s and Inns for alumni here.
