As Covid-19 team leader, work with all campus and community constituents to assure risk of infection is minimized and controlled in a continuous improvement process through targeted measures and feedback loops.

WorkWiseNH is a free safety and health consultation service for small businesses throughout NH funded by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Have a coffee with Wayne and you will quickly realize his passion for evidence of student learning to make a difference. His commitment to education and professional practice are driven by his desire to “do more by preparing the next generation of occupational health and safety professionals.” Students interested in pursuing occupational health and safety appreciate his dynamic and engaging teaching style. But Wayne cautions, in class “be prepared for challenge, because once hired as a safety professional, your actions or inactions will impact employees’ wellbeing.”

Wayne’s dissertation defined 21st Century undergraduate learning competencies for emerging occupational health and safety professionals. He now serves as chair of the American Society of Safety Professionals(ASSP) Educational Standards Committee.

Wayne is described as a connective learner/leader bringing multiple ideas and resources together from people closest to the work, to realize opportunities for positive change.
