Program Overview

The German Minor will familiarize you with historical and contemporary Germany and other German-speaking countries. It complements programs such as Film Studies, Management, English, History, Holocaust Studies, Music and Education. This minor provides students with an active command of written and spoken German and with a knowledge of historical and contemporary Germany.

German minors can study for a semester or a year in Austria at the University of Salzburg, at the Collegium Palatinum in Heidelberg, Germany or through other approved programs.
