COURAGE & FORTITUDE: Images of Jonathan Daniels and Doris “Granny D” Haddock from the New Hampshire Social Justice Collection:

Courage and Fortitude offers a “mosaic” of over 200 photographic images of Jonathan Daniels and Granny D from Mason Library’s New Hampshire Social Justice Collection. The exhibition features images from the research for the PBS documentary, “Here Am I Send Me: The Jonathan Daniels Story,” and from the photographic archive of Doris “Granny D” Haddock. A small selection of historical documents and artifacts are on display along with original video interviews and footage used for the Daniel’s documentary and the PBS documentary “Granny D Goes to Washington”. The exhibition also features never-before-seen documents from the papers of civil rights activist Rev. John Crocker, Jr., a collection currently on deposit at Mason Library.

Exhibit supported by Mason Library Special Collections & Archives, Jonathan Daniels 50th Anniversary Committee, Promoting Active Civil Engagement (PACE)
