Ireland: University of Limerick
The University of Limerick has a modern and comprehensive campus located on 600-acres by the banks of the Shannon River. Noted for its innovative programs which include the "UL Experience," it has excellent sports facilities and the university arena is Ireland’s largest indoor sports complex. More than 11,000 students study at the University of Limerick at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. A wide variety of courses, called modules, are offered. An initial orientation helps students get adjusted to the campus and life in Ireland.
The University of Limerick is located three miles from the center of the city of Limerick, the fifth most populace city in Ireland and the principal one in Ireland’s Mid-West Region. It is easily accessible to both coasts of Ireland as well as Shannon airport. Its historic sites include King John’s Castle and St. Mary’s Cathedral.
