Kids on Campus Grades 7 - 10
GoSTEM (Entering Grades 7 - 10) Note: Registration for this class ends June 17
The GoSTEM program this year will focus on the science of flight, drone technology, and data science - why things fly, how drones work, how information is coded, and how data is analyzed and presented. This camp is designed to empower girls and young women to strengthen curiosity about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We’ll explore the physics of flight, build and fly drones, dive into computer coding, and demystify data science through hands-on activities. Women professionals with experience in these technologies will Zoom in to share their careers. Students will build, learn to fly, and take home their own drone. Director: Susan Silk. Instructors: Lisa Hix, Sarah McGregor, and Susan Romano. July 25 – 29.
