Comments: Building Performance Assessments: The Science, the tools,interpreting results, and making recommendations The course focuses on research and investigation of existingcommercial and residential buildings' performance to understandthe relationship between energy and moisture and how theserelationships drive energy efficiency, indoor air quality,thermal comfort, and building durability. Through hands-on workin the classroom and field, students will learn buildingperformance assessment tools including infrared testing andimaging, hygrothermal modeling (WUFI), pressure diagnostics, andmaterials moisture testing.
