Construction Boot Camp I

Utilizing subject matter experts/OSHA instructors, this course explores a series of subjects and most frequent causes of accidents and fatalities on construction sites. Topics include: electrical safety, excavation/trenching, confined space hazards, incident investigation. Course meets for 2 weeks in the classroom with remainder of work online through summer. Prerequisites: CSS majors and minors only. Summer.

Comments: This Construction Safety Bootcamp will be held the 2weeks post-graduation in Person at Keene State College. Studentswill complete 2 of the 4 credits during that time. Following thetwo week intensive, students will complete the remaining twocredits asynchronous online. Asynchronous work will include shortpapers, discussion boards and similar. Topics covered in the twoweek intensive will include Fall protection, Cranes, ConfinedSpaces, Electrical Standards, and similar.
