Comments: We will explore the impact of an increasingly networked worldfrom an individual perspective. Complex questions of privacy, thechanged roles of producers and consumers of media, the effects ofpersonal mobile technology, thinking critically in a surplus ofinformation, and global issues raised by the "digital divide"will be examined by means of reading, viewing, reflecting,discussing, and writing.
