Handmade Filmmaking

Students will engage with analog film on a material level toreveal possibilities for artistic expression that are notpossible through traditional nonlinear workflows. Photochemicaltechniques such as hand processing, solarization, tinting/toning,reticulation, photogramming and direct image manipulation will bedemonstrated. Material cost $100 (+/-) .
