Communicating in the Workplace

In this course, we will explore the key concepts and practicessurrounding Communicating in the Workplace. We will also practicethe various forms of professional writing and speaking thatunfolds therein. Through the creation of our own hypotheticallocal business, we will develop the skills of self-advocacy,transferable skills identification, cover letter writing, resumewriting, interviewing, and crisis management. This course isaffiliated with the Pathways to Professional Learning (PPL),which offers a chance to prepare for potential internships withcommunity partners, as well as work with those partners to getreal-world experience in the workplace.
