The HomeSite/CF Studio installation process is simple and very similar to other software installations. A wizard will walk you through a few screens in which you select answers to a few simple questions. Generally the choice are already made for you. The only thing you may need to enter is your name, organization and serial number.

1. Place the HomeSite (or CF Studio) CD in the CD drive. Wait for the installation menu to appear.
2. Choose Install HomeSite (or CF Studio).
3. On the 'Welcome" screen, click "Next".
4. On the "Licence Agreement" screen, click "Yes".
5. On the next screen, type 'KSC' in the first name, last name, and organization fields. Then enter the serial number which begins with HS (or CSW for CF Studio) and is located on the CD case or on the box. Click "Next" when you have entered all the information.
6. On the "Path" screen, click "Next".
7. On the "Components" screen, click "Next".
8. On the "TopStyle Location" screen, click "Next".
9. On the "Confirm Selections" screen, click "Next".
10. Then click "Finish." and allow it to restart your computer.
11. To open HomeSite, go to the Start Menu and select Programs --> Macromedia -->HomeSite 5.0
12. To open CF Studio, go to the Start Menu and select Programs --> Macromedia -->ColdFusion Studio 5.0
13. To use HomeSite or CF Studio, begin by adding your FTP server.
14. Then tweak your Settings
