"The Source" Gary Haven Smith is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. His work is in the collections of the Chase Manhattan Bank, Piscatugua National Bank, McGowan Fine Arts Gallery, and New England College, among others. "The Source," the central panel on the gallery's south side, is sculpted of green African granite from Zimbabwe. The mountain and river scene it depicts is derived from Chinese landscape painting, yet also reminiscent of the mountains of New Hampshire. |
