    America's self image is explored through paintings, prints, photographs, and video by 42 artists whose insightful works reveal the triumphs, tragedies, relationships, and traditions that inform our notions of nationhood.

    Public Reception: Friday, September 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m., hosted by Friends of the Thorne
    Keene State English Professor Michael Antonucci presents a guided walk through the exhibit at 6:30 p.m.

    Panel Discussion: Friday, November 4, 9 a.m.-noon, Thorne Conference Room.
    The Infinite Mirror exhibition is part of Keene State's 7th Biennial Symposium "What Sustains Us? Envisioning Our Future." Thorne Director Maureen Ahern moderates an interdisciplinary panel discussion on "Americans: Who We are and Who We are Becoming." The panel will include Keene State faculty Michael Antonucci, Professor of English,; Mike Welsh, Associate Professor of Political Science; Julio Del Sesto, Assistant Professor of Journalism; and Infinite Mirror curator Blake Bradford from the Barnes Foundation.

    Infinite Mirror is developed by Artrain, Inc. and Brandywine Workshop, Philadelphia, Pa., and is toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, D.C. Presented with support from the Institute of Museum & Library Services and the National Endowment for the Arts.

    An in-depth exploration of 20th century Chinese advertising images, mass media, graphic and product design that demonstrate how political ideologies and cultural values are transmitted through everyday objects.
