December 5, 2004Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, an activist for contemporary American Indian art, uses humor and satire in her drawings, prints, paintings, and mixed-media installations to examine myths, stereotypes, and the paradox of American Indian life in contrast to American consumerism.

by Alexander James (1890-1946).An exhibition of artwork in the Thorne's permanent collection by contemporary artists and 19th-century artists from the Dublin Art Colony, which flourished around New Hampshire's Mount Monadnock.

The Annual Keene State College Art Students' Exhibition
Artwork: "Timeline" by Alison Davis, a series of life-size paintings depicting today's woman inspired by films from the 1950s and '60s, received the 2004 People's Choice Award in studio art.
