What We Do

The Student Development Office, third floor, Elliot Hall, is the central coordination point for student concerns on campus. Through this office, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs coordinates a variety of services for students, including advocacy for the resolution of student problems, coordination of the leave and withdrawal process, and management of the College Judicial System.

The student advocacy role of this office provides students with a central location in Elliot Hall to which they can turn with problems they have been unable to resolve elsewhere. The Student Development Office will refer students to the appropriate services or will help them understand the policies and procedures of the College in order that they may find the help they are seeking. The Student Development Office frequently deals with personal or family problems and acts as a liaison with both internal and external resources.

Students should feel free to contact Carol Symonds, Student Services Assistant, or Andrew Robinson, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, in the Student Development Office, Elliot Hall, by calling 358-2842.
