Using QuikPAY
Students: Did you know? Anyone who you want to have access to see the bill should be established as an "authorized payer" on QuikPAY.
To set up an authorized payer:

- Go to your QuikPAY window
- Click on the "Authorize someone else to pay my bill" link
(middle, center of page below your name)

- Students -
login to MyKSC > Student Services > Financial Information > QuikPAY.
- Authorized Payers -
login here.
- Important Reminders:
- Billing statements are posted to QuikPAY periodically
throughout the billing cycle, however, QuikPAY is not a real-time
application. Once the billing deadline has past, QuikPAY accounts
are updated when there is an outstanding balance. Notification is sent via
MyKSC e-mail when the QuikPAY account is updated.
- If you are using a bank debit card
to pay online, you may have a daily transaction limit that will prevent the
payment from being honored. If this happens, please contact your financial
institution. Remember, you may also make your payment using an
e-check (from your checking or savings
account). E-checks work similiar to electronic funds transfer (EFT), but
are only used for single payments.

What is QuikPAY?
QuikPAY is a web-based service that provides view, print, and payment options for the KSC student account. Online payments may be submitted via e-check or credit card (must have U.S. billing address). MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted, but not Visa. QuikPAY is:
- Free & paperless
- Convenient - you can view and pay your bill any time from wherever you are
- Easy - the online billing statement is in the same format as the paper bill you already receive
- A time saver - you can view a 12-month invoice history online
Who can use QuikPAY?
The service is available to all active, matriculated KSC students. Students can also authorize others (e.g., parents, grandparents) to view billing statements and submit student account payments via the web on their behalf. The student is in sole control of his/her QuikPAY account - s/he
determines who should have access to billing information and payment privileges.
How do I make an online payment?
Simply click on the payment option (e-check or credit card), enter the appropriate account and amount information on the screen, and submit the payment. QuikPAY will send you an e-mail notification stating that your payment request was received, and will include a payment confirmation number. Remember to submit your payments a few days prior to the published payment deadline.
When will the payment appear on my KSC student account?
Once a payment is submitted, it may take several days to be posted to your KSC student billing
account.
- Don't wait until the billing due date - the payment will not be posted to the student's KSC account on the same day that the payment is made on the QuikPAY web site! Always pay early to
avoid late fees.
- Any user with a valid QuikPAY account can submit payments provided the student has authorized them to.
- If the bank returns e-check payments to KSC due to "non-sufficient funds" (NSF), the student's KSC account will be charged a penalty fee of $20.00. The payer may also be assessed an additional NSF fee by his/her (personal) financial institution.
- Payments made after 5:30 p.m. E.S.T. via QuikPAY will be considered "next day" activity; there will be an additional day's delay before the payment is processed to the student's KSC student account.
How do I allow someone else to see my QuikPAY account/make a
payment?
Students may elect to set up parents (or others) as an "authorized payer." By doing so, the student:
- Is allowing the authorized payer to view the student's online bill and make a payment on the student's behalf.
- Should be aware that the authorized payer will be able to see all facets of the billing statement, including (but not limited to) all individual charge and payment entries, the student's KSC ID number and the student's address.
- Should designate the desired individual (e.g., parent) as an authorized payer by logging into QuikPAY via "MyKSC."
- Once the student identifies an authorized payer, the student must notify that payer of the unique user name and password s/he will use to access the student's account information.
The student has sole responsibility for setting up and providing the authorized payer with their own logon/password. Authorized payers can access the QuikPAY website.
How do I remove an authorized payer?
Students can remove the "authorized payer" status at their discretion. By doing so, the previously authorized individual will no longer have access to the student's QuikPAY account.
What about when I leave school/am no longer a student?
When a student is no longer a matriculated KSC student, QuikPAY access is automatically cancelled for both that student and all authorized payers.
Why doesn't the QuikPAY payment I just made show on my account?
Students and authorized payers can make payments via QuikPAY at any time.
- The QuikPAY web billing statement will not change as payments are made. The web billing statement is, in essence, a snapshot of the KSC student account on a particular day; the information will not change until the next billing snapshot is sent to QuikPAY by KSC.
- Refer to the web billing statement to see the statement activity "as of" date; this will let you know the last entry date for any activity reflected on the web billing statement.
- QuikPAY payments will be reflected on the student's KSC student account several days from the time the web payment is remitted via QuikPAY.
What about security?
When a student makes a payment via QuikPAY, the information is transmitted using the industry standard for encryption, Secured Socket Layer (SSL).
