Students: Borrowing a 2011-12 Direct Student loan? All students must complete:

1. An electronic Master Promissory Note, and
2. Entrance Counseling (new borrowers only).

Parents: Borrowing a 2011-12 PLUS loan? All parents must:

1. Have a 2011-12 FAFSA (for your dependent student) on file with KSC (more...), and
2. After June 1, complete a new PLUS loan application/credit authorization and Master Promissory Note (MPN), if you have not previously borrowed from Direct Loans. More...

Keene State College offers a full range of lending options to meet the financial needs of our students and their families. The College separates these choices into four main categories.

• Institutional Loan Programs - If the student is eligible, the Institutional Loan will be included on the financial aid award notification from KSC. Students will be contacted via their MyKSC e-mail account regarding promissory note signing.
• Direct Student Loans - The Direct Student Loan will be included on the financial aid award notification from KSC.
• Parent PLUS Loans - Parents apply for these loans.
• Alternative Loans - Students only apply for these loans.
