Summer Session I & II (3 POSITIONS)
(preference given to current and returning Resident Assistants)
Note: Summer RAs may take classes during the summer sessions.

1. Report directly to the Summer Conference Coordinator.
2. Responsible for check-in, check-out and room condition reports for each student assigned to the residence area.
3. Support college policies and procedures as outlined in the Keene State College Student Handbook.
4. General advising and counseling of resident students (personal/academic), including summer LINK program.
5. Security of the assigned housing area.
6. Complete maintenance request orders.
7. Provide social activities for/with resident students (at least 2 per session).
8. Serve weeknight and weekend duty rotation with other RAs.
9. Assist with check-in during orientation weekends & soccer camps (approximately 10-20 hours of work).
10. Other duties as assigned.

Dates of Employment and Compensation: May 11th - August 4th; free room and $600 stipend (for entire summer)

Note: Previous residence hall RA experience required.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Applications are available in the Residential Life Office, 48 Butler Court.
   
2. Deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 7, 2007.
   
3. Applicants will have a 1/2 hour interview. The Summer Conference Coordinators will contact applicants regarding interview dates/times after Spring Break.
   
4. Familiarity with Keene State residence halls is preferred; in addition, experience with customer service, retail, healthcare or hotel/motel facilities is preferred.
