The Residential Life and Housing Office is now accepting Living/Learning Community proposals in Pondside III for the 2008-2009 academic year. The proposal is open to all interested faculty, staff and students who would like to develop a community focused on a particular discipline, theme or interest designed to enhance the college experience of all members of the Keene State College community.

All proposals must include the name of a faculty or staff person who is willing to accept the role of advisor to the group. Faculty and staff may serve as their own community advisor, but all student proposals must identify a faculty or staff advisor.

Please be aware of the following timeline that will govern this process:

February 12 8 p.m.	Information Session – Pondside III Lobby
February 14 12:30 p.m.	Information Session – Pondside III Lobby
February 17 12:30 p.m.	Information Session – Pondside III Lobby
February 21	Learning Community proposals due
February 26	Proposal responses issued (approved Learning Communities posted on Residence Life website)
February 27	Individual living/learning community applications available on Residence Life website
March 17	Student applications to approved Learning Communities due
March 18	Student applicants notified of status
March 24	Accepted students confirm participation in Learning Communities
March 25	Unconfirmed LLC Lottery Numbers Issued/LLC Suites Assigned
April 16	LLC room rosters due to Residential Life and Housing Services
