The Recreational Sports Office hires student workers for more than 100 work positions. Students who have experience in sports can be trained to officiate intramural sports games. Students who are certified and have prior teaching experience will be hired to teach aerobic dance, step aerobics, pilates, and hydrorobics, etc. Lifeguards must be certified in lifeguard training, first aid and CPR and have prior experience guarding. Facility supervisors and first-aiders must have current first-aid and CPR certification to cover the Recreation Center and outdoor intramural games. Students with work-study will be hired first. Student work crews will receive training and supervision for jobs. Those with student hourly and non-status authorizations may also be eligible. Positions Available Apply at the Recreational Sports Office, room 103, Recreation Center. Recreational Sports will be collecting applications for all positions at the Job Fair on Tuesday, August 30. The Job Fair will be held in the West Dining Room on the first floor of the Student Center from 11:00am-1:30pm. Please bring your Student Financial Services CWS Work Authorization card to the Recreational Sports table for filling out our employment application. |
