"Providing a World of Opportunities...
Creating a Lifetime of Wellness"

The mission of Recreational Sports is to plan, organize and direct a sports and fitness program which is broad in nature and will appeal to diverse interests and skill levels. The program includes intramural sports, club sports, group fitness classes, BodyWorks fitness center, open recreation, informal instruction and special events. The focus is on fitness, wellness and the development of healthy lifestyles. The goals of the program are based on the expectation of improved physical health and vitality, as well as enhancement of academic and workplace productivity that result from regular physical activity.

Come join the fun and take advantage of everything Recreational Sports and the Rec Center has to offer!

Membership Information
Full-time and part-time matriculated students at KSC gain access to the Recreation Center and all Recreational Sports programs through payment of their student fees; they do not have to purchase membership to the Recreation Center. Continuing Education students may purchase a membership for $214 per semester or $428 for the 2008-09 academic year, which is equivalent to what full-time and part-time matriculated students pay through their mandatory student fees.

Recreation Center memberships (all options) are available to faculty, staff and their spouses/same-sex domestic partners. Benefits-eligible faculty and staff (or their spouse/same-sex domestic partner) may utilize the Wellness Connection program through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care to cover the expense of their membership. Please stop by the front desk of the Recreation Center for more information on this program.

The Recreational Sports Handbook, which outlines policies for program and facility use is posted at the bottom of this page. The Membership Policies Handbook, which provides complete details on the memberships available for faculty, staff, and Continuing Education students, is available at the front desk of the Recreation Center.

Full Recreation Center membership includes use of the fitness center, recreational courts, swimming pool, racquetball court, all aerobic/fitness classes, and the elevated indoor jogging/walking track. Other membership options for use of specific facilities are also available; please contact the Recreational Sports Office, 603-358-2814, for additional information.
