This new stage adaptation restores the non-stop, heart-pounding suspense and seduction of Stoker’s classic novel. As Count Dracula moves to establish a new feeding ground in Victorian London, the heroic team led by the indomitable Professor Van Helsing try to unravel the mystery to save the city from a fate far worse than death. (Warning: due to the disturbing and often graphic nature of the action, this play is not recommended for children.)

DEPARTMENT EVENT: The Tempest

Wed.-Sat., February 27-March 2, 7:30 p.m., Main TheatreProspero, Duke of Milan, absorbed in studies of magic, is ousted by his brother Antonio and lands with his lovely daughter Miranda on a deserted island. Years later, a tempest brings his old enemies near, and Prospero uses his magical arts to shipwreck them on his shore where he can deal with their treachery. This comedy/romance ensues with jesters and liquor, love and marriage, conspiracy, revenge, and reconciliation. See this year’s KSC Keene is Reading selection performed on stage.
