KEENE, N.H. 5/5/04 - Keene State College is currently accepting applications for the fall 2004 semester. Peggy Richmond, director of admissions, says that there are still places for first-year, transfer, and re-admitted students. Students who apply early and beat the rush, says Richmond, are more likely to have their financial aid packages finalized before their deposits are due. On-campus accommodation is available for early registrants.

Keene State, a public liberal arts college located in the Monadnock region, offers 35 majors in the arts, sciences, and professional studies. KSC is currently updating its science and technology facilities, with a new, $23-million science center to be opened in the fall. The College is also well known for its athletics program, with the men's basketball team recently making the final eight in the NCAA championship.
