Keene State College Enrolls Record Number of Students
College Maintains Recruitment Success in Difficult Economy
Keene, NH, October 3, 2011: Keene State College today announces that its enrollment for the 2011 - 2012 academic year is the highest in College history. A total of 5,846 students are currently enrolled - 52 percent of students earning degrees are from New Hampshire. Forty-one percent of first-year, newly-enrolled students attending Keene State College are the first in their families to attend college.

This reputation is built on the College's world-class curriculum, and opportunities to engage in our community and take action for civic responsibility," said President of Keene State College, Helen Giles-Gee. Keene State maintained a strong first-year recruitment for the 2011 - 2012 academic year, with 1,262 first-year students newly enrolled, up from 1,205 students in the previous year.
