Safety studies students will be volunteering at the Keene Home Depot's Safety Day on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (22 Ashbrook Rd.). Besides great lessons on auto, barbecue, Halloween, bike, food, and bus safety, there will be lots of fun and games, and demonstrations by search and rescue dogs, the NH Smokehouse, and Shaolin Studios.

"This is a good volunteering experience where we are helping a major company in the community promote safety awareness to the public," said safety studies major Travis Brenner. "The day sounds really fun and should be a great time."
