Whether you've been around campus for decades or just recently rolled onto the Keene scene, you'll find a wealth of fascinating lore to keep you connected to KSC's remarkable past and bright future at 7 o'clock this Friday night, October 1, at the Colonial Theater in downtown Keene.

The College is starting Homecoming Weekend off right with the world premiere of Enter to Learn Go Forth to Serve: The First Hundred Years of Keene State College, a film by Larry Benaquist and Lance Levesque.

The film traces the College's history from its beginnings in 1909 as a normal school designed to train competent teachers in progressive educational values, through the Roaring 20s, the Depression years, World War II, the Vietnam Era and the rise of student unrest, to the current efforts to establish Keene State College as a beacon of educational excellence for the 21st century.

It's a great story - a story in which you play a part. Be in the first audience to see this historic film. Call the RSVP hotline at 603-358-2300 to let us know you're coming. The film is free and open to the public, so come early to claim your seat. The doors will open at 6 p.m.

Also showing on Saturday, October 2 at 2 p.m. in Putnam Lecture Hall at the Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond. Free and open to the public.
