It is amazing but true; the summer is right around the corner. For most of us, this is a time of excitement and preparation as our sons or daughters begin to get ready to attend Keene State College.
This transition brings with it a great deal of anticipation, stress and emotion. This publication has been designed to answer some questions that you might have about KSC and the college experience. Please know that the Parents Association is here to provide a bridge or be a link for you with KSC and hope that you will consider becoming an active parent in its programs and activities.
Parents of students at Keene State College, like you, from many states and different walks of life, comprise the membership of the KSCPA. We collaborate with the Alumni and Parent Relations office to promote closer relationships and understanding between parents and the college community through many program and informational offerings.
Working together we can accomplish great things! Programs include Parent/Family Weekend, support for student activities and a broad range of informational resources. Parents who opt in as a member of the Association will also receive informative publications such as our quarterly KSC Today magazine and twice-yearly parent and family newsletters. All undergraduate parents and guardians are automatically members of the Parents Association unless they have formally opted not to participate. |
