Objectives/Purpose:
- to recognize how different people perceive a place by examining their likes and dislikes.

Materials:
poll questionnaires

Procedure:
1. Create a poll questionnaire:
-What is your favorite thing about the Upper Valley?
-Name one thing youwould like to change in the Upper Valley?

2. Have students poll 5 -10 adults outside of the school.

3. Compile the responses.

Evaluation/Assessment:
- Did the children notice any similarities?

Enrichment/Extension:

Send a letter explaining the activity to the Upper Valley Development Council.
