Founders Day is a fun-filled day of workshops, volunteer opportunities and luncheon, in appreciation of the
vital role Operating Staff fulfill in supporting the Mission of the College.
The HistoryThe first Founders Day Program was held in spring of 1987. The name "Founders Day" was a play on the word foundation because the program emphasized how Operating Staff are the foundation for the College, providing the front-line service and creating the physical space in which our students live and learn. KSC Centennial 2009In honor of out centennial the Operating and Professional Administrative and Technical (PAT) Staff joined to bring
provide two days of professional and personal development workshops. Thank you to the Professional Development/Founders
Day Committee members for all your hard work: Nate Gordon, Linda Cucchiara Co-Chairs, Lucy Webb, Kathryn Manning,
Young Lee, Bette Whitney, Tamara Naitove and Kim Harkness. A special thanks to President Giles-Gee without whose
support these days would not have been possible.
