Colleague Recognition

It is my pleasure to pass along the Golden Owl to Brendan Denehy. Brendan is quickly approaching his 26th work anniversary with the College, and I cannot think of a more deserving staff person to receive colleague recognition. In addition to his excellent work in the Registrar’s Office, Brendan gives his time and talents to crossing divisions and helping in other areas of campus - such as ceremonies and events. He is always available to work with me at the convocations and commencement. He draws from his wealth of event experience to continually suggest improvements to the logistical flow, content and operations of our major ceremonies. He is willing to work at the events – evenings and weekends alike, maintaining a calming and capable presence during the ceremony whether he is coordinating faculty line-up, managing scrolls, cueing musicians, or directing Gonfalon carriers. I can also count on Brendan to always be very detailed, thoughtful and thorough in his comments during debriefings. Brendan truly has our KSC students’ experience in mind at all times. Thank you, Brendan! It is my pleasure to work with you!

I’ve passed the Golden Owl to Brenda Galenus for her commitment to making the best experience for students living on campus. Her strong desire to find solutions and answers to any questions that come her way has helped ease the minds of many incoming students. She is always offering to go above and beyond to make the students housing experience go smoothly from the beginning to the end. She continues to show her commitment by taking time out of her busy schedule to be on the Operating Staff Council. Thank you, Brenda!
