YEA! Benefit for KSC Employees

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy program would like to announce a special benefit to all Keene State College employees. Your children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews are being provided with a special incentive to participate in this special program.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (also known as YEA!) is a groundbreaking, exciting after-school program that transforms middle- and high-school students into confident entrepreneurs. During a 30-week instruction period, students in grades 6-12 generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch product ideas to a panel of investors, and launch their very own companies. Students learn how to develop and run a real enterprise in a fun, project-based approach.
The Academy also provides local community members with a variety of opportunities to volunteer and get involved. From exciting business guest lecturers and dynamic field trips to innovative companies, to passionate business mentors and investor panelists, there are multiple ways to help students launch their enterprises and become impassioned local leaders.
As a special incentive for faculty and staff families, YEA! is offering a $100 reduction in tuition and is waiving the application fee when students apply to YEA! online at yeausa.org by September 15, 2016 using the promotional code “EDU2016”.
