Rec Center Memberships Available
From Recreational Sports:
Faculty and staff who are benefit-eligible employees (or their spouses/partners who are on their KSC health insurance plan) may utilize the Harvard Pilgrim wellness connection benefit to join the Recreation Center at no charge. The wellness connection program requires members to work out in the Recreation Center a minimum of 8 times per month and submit a completed log sheet to Recreational Sports in order to have their membership covered. Any new faculty or staff (or their spouses/partners) who wish to sign up for a facility membership utilizing the Harvard Pilgrim wellness connection benefit can do so at the front desk of the Recreation Center. Faculty and staff who do not have access to the wellness connection benefit may purchase a Recreation Center membership for $480 (September 1-August 31, 2017); the Walking Track/Group Fitness membership (use of track and group fitness classes only) for $125 per semester; or the Pool membership (use of pool during recreation hours and racquetball court) at no charge. These options are also available to spouses/partners of KSC faculty and staff.
Current facility members (or those who need to re-start from their summer hold) should renew their membership for 2016-17 by the start of the school year.
Opening week hours, August 22-28:
- Facility hours: Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Pool hours: Monday-Friday, noon-1 p.m.; Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m.; Saturday, no hours; Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
Academic year Recreation Center facility hours and pool hours begin on Monday, August 29:
- Facility hours: Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.-11 p.m.; Friday, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Pool hours: Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Monday-Thursday, 7:30-10 p.m.; and Saturday & Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
Facility and pool hours are subject to change for school holidays and breaks.
