Renovations to the Rec Center

Over the next couple of months, renovations will be ongoing in the shower areas of the men’s and women’s general locker rooms to add individual and handicap accessible stalls in both areas. During this time, showers will not be available for use, but members can use the showers in the upstairs pool locker rooms. Access to the pool locker rooms is through the back doors labeled “Pool” from the men’s and women’s general locker rooms respectively, and up the stairwells into the pool locker rooms. Please plan accordingly for changing and showering purposes while the work is being done in the locker rooms.

The work in the men’s locker room shower began June 15 with new piping being installed to create individual shower stalls. Updates on the timeline for the beginning of the work in the women’s locker room will be sent out as soon as possible. Signs will also be posted on the locker room doors.

We apologize for the inconvenience over the next few months, but the summer is the best time to have this type of work done.
