Elizabeth Nieckoski presented at national user’s conference eLive in Denver April 20. The Ellucian conference had 8,500 participants; Ellucian is the parent company for both Banner and Colleague (formally known as Datatel). Her presentation, “Student Planning, gotta love it”, included information about KSC’s implementation, campus adoption, and how the tool provides many efficiencies for students, staff and advisors.

Karrie Kalich and Becky Dunn have received a $29,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, State and Local Public Health Actions to Prevent Obesity, Diabetes, Health Disease and Stroke. This award provides funds to provide physical activity consultation and to implement a statewide physical activity project focused on licensed child care programs and public schools.

Kathleen Williams, Marketing and Communications, will present her work in three upcoming exhibitions. Her constructions of photography and writing will be included in this year’s Keene Art Walk at Kristin’s Bistro and Bakery during the month of June. Kathleen has been invited to participate in the Cape Ann Museum’s summer program at the White-Ellery House in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in a one-artist, one-day installation on August 13. Her work will also be featured at the Jaffrey Civic Center during the month of September.
