New Additions to the Children's Literature Festival Gallery

Jane Yolen, who received a Doctorate of Letters from Keene State College in 1998 and is the author of over 200 books, recently made two very significant donations to the Children’s Literature Festival Gallery Collection that is housed in Rhodes Hall.
When Jane was here for our 39th annual Children’s Literature Festival on October 24th, she brought three signed poetry broadsides. Since two of her poems are about artists, we decided they should be hung in our Festival Gallery Collection. One is entitled “Partying with Artists” and the other one is “Eating with Artists.” They hang next to a framed document identifying the donors for the Festival Display Case.
Jane and her late husband David Stemple made a very significant donation for the creation of this piece. We so appreciate Jane’s support over the last 37 years for all we do to promote children’s literature here at Keene State College.
