Director of Institutional Research and Assessment Cathy Turrentine conducts the office’s major studies, such as retention analyses and the campus climate survey, and provides campus-wide leadership for assessment.

Cathy received her Ph.D. in Education from Mississippi State University in 1993. She has worked in institutional research and assessment since 1998, first at Virginia Tech, then at Bridgewater State University, and (since 2011) at Keene State College. She is the author of two dozen refereed publications on a variety of topics. Her professional focus is bringing information to bear on the college’s question of the moment, and she has an abiding interest in using transformative research methods to support campus diversity.
