Keene State, through the University System of New Hampshire, provides a competitive total compensation package for our employees. Staff and faculty in benefited positions enjoy a variety of medical plans, dental coverage, a generous defined-contribution retirement plan, and paid time, as well as life insurance, long-term disability, and access to other voluntary programs. Karyn Kaminski is available to answer all your benefit questions! Detailed information on plans is also available through the USNH Human Resources Benefits links.
To make changes to benefits, employees need to access MyUSNHBenefits. Your USNH ID will be required to login.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an important benefit that will be available to all USNH employees (other than student workers) beginning in January 2015. The EAP provides confidential counseling to employees or their family members in need. EAP also provides initial support for legal advice, financial counseling, and life coaching.
A comprehensive benefits package is available to our tenure-track and clinical faculty who are covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Keene State College Educational Association. Our contract lecturers have access to a comparable benefit package provided to USNH faculty and staff not covered by collective bargaining. More about Faculty
Operating Staff (OS) are hourly, benefited employees who fill critical roles across campus, serving in administrative, clerical, technical, and trades positions. OS are offered a generous benefit program designed to meet individual needs and provide for work-life balance. Our earned time program is of special note! More about Operating Staff
Professional, Administrative, and Technical Staff (or PATs) are salaried employees who serve the institution in a variety of roles as programmers, nurses, educators, administrators and more! PATs enjoy the same robust benefits as Operating Staff, though there are some differences in the paid leave (vacation) program. More about Professional, Administrative and Technical Staff
Adjunct faculty and staff employees serve in many capacities across the campus and are important to our success. While usually part-time employees, some adjunct faculty and staff serve the campus at a full-time level and may be eligible for medical coverage. More about Adjunct Faculty and Staff
