As the Director of Disability Services, Jane has been coordinating services for students with disabilities for the past 20 years. Prior to that experience, she worked as a Rehabilitation Consultant for the Farnum Rehabilitation Center at the Cheshire Medical Center, where she provided rehabilitation counseling for inpatient, outpatient, and industrial rehab patients who experienced closed head injuries, stroke and work trauma. Jane has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for Massachusetts and New Hampshire and has maintained contacts with employers and community resources. She obtained a BS, MEd, and CAGS in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College.
Jane serves as a member of the Governor’s Commission on Disability and is on the boards of directors for the Monadnock Collaborative/Service Link and Prospect Place, senior assistive living.
Her professional interests include the transition from high school to college and students with physical- rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury. In her work with students, she provides comprehensive services and assists students with transition issues both entering and exiting college and the world of work.
Jane Warner graduated Summa Cum Laude from Springfield College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also has a Masters of Education and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Rehabilitation Counseling.
