Short-Term Programs

Central Europe
Prof. Brian Green led a short-term program to Central Europe in summer 2005

Short-term programs last about 1-6 weeks, depending on the program. Short-term programs often take place in the summer, or during mid-term breaks. Already studied away with KSC? Good news! You can study away multiple times with academic approval, and go on as many short-term programs as you like!

Why choose a short-term program?

  • Earn KSC credit toward your major, minor, elective, or general education requirements
  • Many short-term programs are open to freshman applicants
  • Shorter programs are often easier to fit into academic plans
  • Short-term programs may be less expensive

Choose from three types of short-term programs:

  • KSC Faculty-led programs
  • National Student Exchange
  • International summer programs

You may be eligible for financial aid to help with the costs of a short-term program. Read about financial aid for study away programs, then visit the Student Financial Services office to discuss your eligibility.

See if you are eligible to study away on a short-term program!
