Rugby at Victoria University of Wellington

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Fall Semester: July to November
Spring Semester: March to July

Description:
The Rugby study away program allows male and female rugby players to study at Victoria University while participating as a full-fledged member of a Rugby Club. As part of the program, students receive all that an international student would normally receive as well as a free gym membership at Wellington’s largest complex, rugby uniform and bag, tickets to professional rugby games, and access to coaches who have trained world-class rugby athletes. This is the perfect way for rugby players to gain immediate cultural immersion, academic credit, and learn the “art” of rugby in arguably the world’s best-informed and most passionate rugby nation.
