The Université Rennes 2 Haute-Bretagne has an exchange agreement with Keene State College. It has a diverse student population of around 20,000. The university is located in the city of Rennes, which is the capital of Brittany. The Brittany region has a unique culture and heritage, and Rennes has been voted one of the best cities in France to live in for its quality of life. It is located two hours west of Paris by TGV (high speed train).

The Université Rennes 2 Haute-Bretagne is approved by the Modern Languages department for FR 350 (the study in France or Quebec requirement for French Majors). Students have the option of enrolling in the CIREFE language program which offers intensive French language instruction for non-native speakers or enrolling in regular college courses taught in French. The CIREFE program may have an additional cost.
