Listed below is a brief description of our study away programs in Ecuador. Program costs are listed separately. Check to see if you meet the basic study away eligibility requirements, and then download the application materials to begin your study away adventure today.

Galapagos Academic Institute for the Arts & Sciences (GAIAS)

Located off the coast of Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands are an amazing and unique ecological treasure. GAIAS uses a hands-on teaching method to explore a variety of subjects - all in English-taught courses! Learn to sail, SCUBA, snorkel, and ride horseback on-site and participate in a wide variety of field trips offered every semester.

Pontifica Universidad Catolica del Ecuador

PUCE is situated near Quito’s city center. Study in the Spanish program while participating in a number of exciting field trips and cultural excursions throughout Ecuador. Catch a futbol match, climb a volcano, visit the Equator, or relax on the sand at PUCE’s private beach club. The Spanish program is approved for majors and minors, but no prior knowledge of Spanish is required.

Universidad San Francisco de Quito

USFQ is located just outside Quito. This program is for Spanish language study only, with no option of English-taught courses. The program is approved for advanced Spanish majors and minors.
