GEO Advisory Committee
The Global Education Office (GEO) Advisory Committee promotes and supports global academic programs and activities on behalf of Keene State College, including but not limited to faculty led international academic programs, study away and international student and scholar exchange. Serving as a guiding body for the Global Education Office, the GEO Advisory Committee helps to further the mission of Keene State College in general, and the GEO office specifically.
Its area of oversight includes, but is not limited to,
- Approval of new study away programs and partner universities;
- Strategic planning regarding internationalization strategies and goals;
- Implementation and administrative approval for faculty led international credit bearing courses and programs;
- Selection of scholarships for students and faculty that have an international dimension;
- Oversight and (for faculty members) evaluation of upper level integrative studies courses taken on an approved KSC study away program;
- Consideration of issues related international students and scholars and exchange students at KSC;
- Support around credit transference and other academic course concerns from international universities and programs;
- And other matters that may pertain to global academic programs and activities at Keene State College.
