KSC Retains Former NH Attorney General

Keene State College has retained the McLane Law Firm to investigate the response to allegations of employee misconduct. Michael Delaney, former New Hampshire Attorney General, will lead the investigation. Keene State President, Dr. Anne E. Huot, ordered an independent investigation to review College policies and procedures in the event of allegations of misconduct.

“Keene State’s top priority is providing a safe, secure environment for our students, faculty and staff. It’s critical that we have a timely and thorough external investigation so that we can address any shortcomings. Working with Mr. Delaney and his colleagues ensures that we have taken the necessary steps to move forward with confidence in our policies for reporting misconduct,” said President Huot. “That said, we also rely on our campus community to take an active role in this process. For this reason, we have been meeting with faculty, staff and students to raise awareness and understanding of how and when to take action for the wellbeing of others in our community.”

“We will expeditiously review all aspects of the College’s handling of this matter,” said Delaney. “Upon completion of this investigation, we will provide a comprehensive summary of our findings that will offer guidance for any further actions that may need to be taken.”
