Environmental Studies Open House
The Environmental Studies Department at Keene State College invites you to an open house poster presentation of student capstone projects. As part of a yearlong community-based project, students in one section of the junior/senior seminar have examined issues related to parks and open space and are providing recommendations to be considered in the development of an Active and Passive Recreation Management Plan for the City of Keene.
Students in a second section of the seminar are tackling the issue of food waste from the Keene State Dining Commons and working with interested stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of developing a composting program in Keene.
