Keene State Community Saddened by Student Death

Keene State College officials learned that on October 20, 2011, Jeffrey Samek, a former Keene State College student, tragically died. Jeffrey was a Keene State College student from 2008 to 2010. Jeffrey’s obituary is available onli ne .

Vice President of Student Affairs at Keene State College, Andy Robinson, offered the following statement.

“On behalf of the entire Keene State College community we are greatly saddened by the news of Jeffrey Samek’s passing. We offer our heartfelt sympathy and support to the Jeffrey’s family and friends who are facing a profoundly difficult time.

“We are all affected by these losses. Counseling services are always available for anyone who feels the need for guidance and support through this time. We strongly urge people in need to reach out. If you are concerned about anyone you know who is affected by this loss please encourage that person to seek counseling, guidance and support.”
