17th Annual Faculty Composers Recital

Original compositions by KSC music faculty will be performed at the Redfern Arts Center Sunday, April 29th at 3:00 pm. The evening will include the world premiere of Elaine Broad Ginsberg’s Con Moto! for tenor saxophone and piano, which was written for and will be performed by Craig Sylvern and Vladimir Odinokikh. The New Hampshire premiere of Key West Suite by José Lezcano, a new flute-guitar arrangement evocative of Key West landmarks and pastimes, will also debut. Elator C for crotales and electronics by Christopher Swist and Song for Isaac by Craig Sylvern, as well as works from Ted Mann and Heather Gilligan, will round out a fine program by KSC’s exceptional music educators.
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults. Please contact the box office at (603) 358-2168.
