Musical Benefit for the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities The Keene State College Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Sandra Howard, will present a concert performance on Sunday, April 15th at 3:00 p.m. in the Redfern Alumni Recital Hall. The Singers, joined by collaborative pianist Tom Martin, will perform Fauré’s powerful, stirring “Requiem”. The KSC String Ensemble, joined by director Mike Kelly, will also collaborate to perform Whitacre’s “Five Hebrew Love Songs” based on delicate Hebrew poems written by the composer’s wife, Hila Plitmann. Other choral works will include by Ešenvalds, Schubert and Stravinsky . 20 percent of ticket proceeds will benefit the Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults. Please contact the Box Office at 603.358.2168.
